Ian is based in Cardiff, Wales, UK. He studied at Hastings Art college, Carmarthan and then Cardiff. Ian Watson centres his work around fictional characters and imagined scenarios, the products of nightmares, modern folklore, partially remembered facts from news clippings and internet searches form the subject of his drawing and print works whilst the aesthetic content is a fascination with organic textures and the natural world.
